On number one, we have a winner of the 2023 Women’s 20-20 World Cup. Going by current form and consistency no one other than Australia’s Beth Mooney deserves to be atop this list. Mooney will be playing for the Gujarat franchise in the upcoming Women’s T20 League.
She scored three fifties in six matches in the Women’s 20-20 League. Her tournament started off disastrously; she could only manage scores of 0 and 2 in the first two games against New Zealand and Bangladesh. However, she turned the screw at the right time registering scores of 56*, 20, 54, and 74* in the next four games. She was absolutely crucial in the semifinal and final of the competition. She is a big game player and Gujarat fans would be lucky to have her open the bat for their team.
