Harmanpreet Kaur for Mumbai vs UP
The stunning one-hander by the Mumbai skipper at the slip was picked as the catch of the tournament. In the 15th match of the season Mumbai were bowled out for 127 runs against the UP franchise. Mumbai needed early wickets to come back in the match and Harmanpreet Kaur made sure that UP has to struggle to score the winning total with her splendid fielding. Chasing 128 runs, UP were scored 1 run in the first over.
After that, off-spinner Hayley Matthews came to bowl the second over and bowled a flighted delivery outside off stump, provoking Devika Vaidya to go for a drive, but the ball found the edge of her bat and it was Kaur’s stunning effort that sent Vaidya back to the pavilion. Mumbai bowlers did a great job to take the match to the final over. However, UP chased the winning total losing 5 wickets with three balls to spare.
