Women’s T20 league: Top five players to watch out for in the upcoming auction
The Women’s T20 League is finally happening! The inaugural edition of the tournament is set to take place in March, while the auction will take place next month. The tournament, recently, made headlines after the Indian Cricket Board earned a whopping sum of INR 951 crores for a five-year television rights deal with Viacom.
Notably, three Indian T20 League franchises such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore placed successful bids to buy the teams in the Women’s T20 League. The inaugural edition will have five teams taking on each other such as Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Lucknow, and Mumbai.

The left-handed, Smriti Mandhana is, currently, one of the finest batters in India’s women’s cricket. She is an out-and-out match-winner for the team and has won numerous games, singlehandedly, for the team across formats.
His ability to play fearlessly against both the spinners and the pacers makes her a hot property in the women’s T20 League. Mandhana has 2474 runs to her name in 100 T20 international appearances, striking at close to 130.
