Women’s T20 League: Top three player battles to look out for in the opening match between Mumbai and Gujarat

Gujarat’s skipper Beth Mooney has been in great form as she was the leading run-scorer for Australia in the recently concluded Women’s 20-20 World Cup, playing a crucial role in her team winning the title.
In her last T20I series against India, Mooney has shown that she can bat pretty well on these types of pitches. She can be dangerous for Mumbai bowlers as an opening batter. Meanwhile, England pacer, Issy Wong will be looking to dismiss the Gujarat skipper as early as she could. Mooney has scored 28 runs from 16 balls against Wong, while Wong has dismissed her once. There will be a tough battle between both players in the powerplay.
