Suryakumar Yadav registered a fabulous hundred against South Africa in the 3rd T20I of the series. The unorthodox batter scored his 4th T20I ton in his favourite format. In the process, the Indian captain broke some records. As usual, his batting was so fun to watch, as he hit some entertaining shots. The number of ways in which he can score runs still amazes many.

In the match against SA, Surya was fluent. After being asked to bat first by Aiden Markram, India found themselves at 29/2. From there, Yadav joined Yashasvi Jaiswal to anchor the Indian innings. The speciality about Yadav is his ability to anchor the innings at a very high strike rate. He did not have to change his way of play just because of the fall of the wicket at the other end.

Suryakumar took on the spinners and pacers of SA very well and hit some wonderful sixes. In his stay in the middle, the Indian captain scored 100 runs in 56 balls. The knock of Yadav included 7 fours and 8 sixes. 76 runs from Suryakumar’s blade came just from the boundaries, which showed his way of scoring. At no point did he look tired or struggling in the middle.
