Meanwhile, Jos Buttler has spoken about the lessons that were learned from the Caribbean sojourn. England had lost both the T20I and the ODI series to the home side. Jos Buttler while speaking to the media called it as a great learning curve.
“You want to win and we all wanted to win the series. It’s hard to say when you’ve lost but I think we’ve found out some good things. Obviously, some players have stood up and done well. We’ve obviously had five games out here in the Caribbean and had a really good look at what conditions will be like for the World Cup only six months away. So yeah, it’s been a good series”
It will be interesting to see how Kieron Pollard and Jos Buttler join hands. If the stars align, then the England team will be tough to beat during the T20I World Cup next year. If that happens then the legend of Kieron Pollard will keep reaching newer heights.
