In recent years, several reports have suggested that the Pakistan Cricket Board has tried to arrange some cricketing events with India. But, the Indian Board neglected all of them due to political reasons. Hence, if now, the Indian Cricket Board invited them for this match, they might not come.
Even, former Pakistan players like Salman Butt also expressed the same regarding the possibility of the Afro-Asia cup return in the coming days. He said that these two countries do not play in bilateral series and thus, Pakistan should “say no” to taking part in the Afro-Asia Cup. Hence, former cricketers might not want Pakistan players to take part in this match if it happens.
