If the Indian T20 League franchises continue to but teams in global T20 Leagues, fans will lose their interest in international cricket. Since the introduction of T20 cricket, fans have started to lose interest in the 50-over and Test formats. Now, they will be more focused on these leagues if such franchises continue to show their dominance.
Fans will lose interest in international cricket. Eventually, international cricket will die and only such franchise T20 Leagues will remain. Hence, the Governing Body of Cricket needs to take significant actions. Only then it can stop such an alarming situation from happening in the coming days.
