This clash occurred during the Champions Trophy final in 2017. After defeating Pakistan with ease in the group stage, India was firm favourites to win the trophy. But, Mohammad Amir had some other plans as he rattled the Indian batting line-up with his bowling skills. Speaking of the match, Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to field first. Pakistan put up a massive total of 338 runs by losing four wickets only in 50 overs. 

Fakhar Zaman was the highest scorer with 114 runs off 106 balls, including 12 boundaries and three over-boundaries. But, in reply, the Indian top-order batters were completely clueless against Mohammad Amir. In his opening spell, he took the wickets of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, and Virat Kohli. India never managed to cope with that as they got bundled out for 158 runs in 30.3 overs. Amir finished the match with three wickets in six overs, by conceding only 16 runs.
