Cricket is known as a gentleman’s game. But, sometimes some unwanted scenes happen in the field. Sledging has been an integral part of this game within a certain limit as players have always looked to use that to get into the minds of their oppositions.
But, sometimes it has been observed that sledging has not worked properly for the oppositions as they brought out their best performance in those respective matches. Sledging has triggered those players to perform with more intensity. Here are some instances when teams have regretted sledging opposition players across all the formats.

It was the 2007 T20 World cup match when India faced England in a must-win game in the group stages of the tournament. Yuvraj Singh made the headlines as he smashed six sixes in an over against Stuart Broad in that match. Speaking about the match, Indian captain MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first.
However, a verbal spat happened between him and the English all-rounder Andrew Flintoff. This triggered him and he unleashed his explosive batting. He also registered the fastest fifty in International cricket in the process as he smashed it in 12 balls only.
