Another nightmare for England’s Stuart Broad as he got smashed for a record-breaking 35 runs by India’s Jasprit Bumrah at Edgbaston in 2022. It was the 84th over of India’s innings when they were fighting to cross the 400-run mark.
This was the fifth rescheduled Test match where Bumrah was the captain also as Rohit Sharma missed it due to Covid-19 infection. Now, speaking about that over, he smashed four boundaries, two sixes, and a single in all the legal deliveries. Broad gave six runs as extras and that over cost him 35 runs. Thus, Bumrah created a World Record in the history of Test cricket.
