After getting sidelined for several months, Deepak Chahar is looking to make a comeback for India in the upcoming Zimbabwe ODIs. However, the Indian selectors have kept him as one of the backups for the upcoming Asia Cup. As per reports, his performance in Zimbabwe will be scrutinized thoroughly ahead of the mega-events.
However, he is making a comeback after a huge injury setback. It also ruined his participation in the last edition of the Indian T20 League for his Chennai franchise. Hence, India can look for him as a replacement for Bumrah in the T20 World Cup. However, his overall fitness will be a matter of concern for the Indian Team Management.
