This right-handed batter is a well-known player who made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe in 2016. On that tour, Indian star players were given rest and that’s why players like Nair were given the chance of donning that India jersey. In Test cricket, Karun Nair was neglected even after scoring a 300+ knock against England.
However, he failed to continue his ODI career as he played only two matches where he scored 46 runs. He played six Test matches for India where he scored 374 runs, including a knock of 303 runs. After this, he did not get any call-up for any format till now as he also failed to score runs in the domestic arena consistently in recent times.
