This right-handed batter from Bengal got his opportunity in the International set-up when he made his debut in 2008 against Australia. His performances in the Ranji seasons earned him the national call-up as he scored just one century and a half-century in his small International career.
But, despite scoring an International ton, Manoj Tiwary was ignored by Kohli and his men. In fact, he had some good Ranji and Indian T20 League seasons. Still, he never got any consideration from the national setup. Manoj played in 12 ODIs and three T20Is where he managed only 287 and 15 runs respectively.
