The Chennai franchise can look to trade this off-spinner from the Hyderabad franchise ahead of the next season of the Indian T20 League. In the last edition of the tournament, he played only nine matches for his team. In those matches, he scored 101 runs in seven innings, at an average of 14.42.
Washington Sundar also grabbed six wickets in eight innings, at a bowling average of 39.83. However, he missed other games as Sundar injured his bowling hand. Then, he faced many injury setbacks also. Now as per reports, he is going to play this year’s Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament. Therefore, as an Indian all-round option, Sundar can be a handy option for Chennai.
