Virat Kohli is known as the most designated batter of the world for the last decade. However, he had been going through a rough patch with the bat for the last two years. But, that did not affect his fan following as he always looked to deliver his best whenever he gets into the field.
During all these years, fans have seen Kohli as an animated character who stays very active, and aggressive while fielding. He had also seen sledging to oppositions with a motive to get into their minds. But, sometimes this sledging went the other side as the opposition got better of him by performing their best.

This incident happened when India took on Australia in 2014-15 in the first Test match of the series. Speaking of the match, Australia scored 517 runs in the first innings as both David Warner and Steve Smith scored a hundred for them. In reply, India managed 444 runs as Virat Kohli scored 115. But, a heated moment happened when Australia came out to bat in the second innings.
Rohit Sharma bowling and he appealed for an LBW. But, it did not please Smith as he made a gesture toward the bowler. Then, Kohli came up and joined in a verbal spat asking Steve Smith to “stay within [his] limits.” However, things did not go in Kohli’s favour as Smith remained unbeaten on 52 runs as Australia set a massive target of 364 runs for India. India fought well as Kohli scored 141 runs again. But, unfortunately, India lost the match by 48 runs.
