In 2014, this incident took place when India was on a tour to New Zealand. This incident happened during India and New Zealand’s second Test. Virat Kohli was fielding at silly midfield. Brendon McCullum was batting on nine runs only then. The Kiwi batter gave a catch to Kohli. He tried to grab it.

But, he failed after he tried to grab with one hand only. Thus, McCullam got a lifeline and he punished team India. In that match, he scored a triple hundred. Thus, he became the only other player from New Zealand to record a triple century. He also had a partnership of 352-run with BJ Watling for the sixth wicket.
