7 Changes in India’s Squad for ODI World Cup 2023 from ODI World Cup 2019
1. Shubman Gill replaces Shikhar Dhawan:
Shikhar Dhawan is known as the king of major tournaments, but he couldn’t do much in the ODI World Cup 2019. He last played an ODI for India in December 2022 against Bangladesh. Shubman Gill has performed brilliantly in last few months and made his position permanent in the squad for the Men in Blue and Dhawan has been sidelined. Gill has smashed 1015 runs at a marvelous average of 59.70 and at an impressive strike rate of 101.39.
