Indian T20 League 2022: Top 10 memes from the Lucknow vs Rajsthan match

Lucknow faced Rajasthan in the 63rd match of the Indian T20 League 2022 at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. The two teams looking to consolidate their claim in the top four fought hard in the match.
Rajasthan won the toss in the match and decided to bat first. But Rajasthan did not get the start they wanted as Avesh Khan dismissed Jos Buttler (2 of 6) early in the innings. Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal stitched a partnership of 64 runs stabilizing the innings from thereon. Samson (32 of24) was the second wicket to fall for Rajasthan and was soon followed by Jaiswal (41 of 29) in the 12th over of the innings. But Devdutt Padikkal played a breezy knock of 39 runs from 18 deliveries and increased the scoring rate for his team. When Padikkal was dismissed in the 14th over of the innings, Rajasthan’s score was 122 for 4.
After this, the lower-order batters contributed with some short cameos. Noticeable among these was that played by Trent Boult, who scored 17 off 9 deliveries. Rajasthan posted a total of 178 runs on the board from their 20 overs. The pick of the bowlers for Lucknow was Ravi Bishnoi, who picked up two wickets for 32 runs from his four overs.
Lucknow was derailed early in their chase as Trent Boult picked up two consecutive wickets in the third over of the innings. The early dismissal of Quinton de Kock (7 of 8) and Ayush Badoni (0 of 1) gave the team a jolt which was hard to recover from. Although Deepak Hooda (59 of 39) and Krunal Pandya (25 of 23) tried to bring their chase back on track they failed in that endeavor. Krunal Pandya was dismissed in the 14th over when their score was 94 runs. After this, the Rajasthan bowlers tightened their grip on the Lucknow batting as the new batter found it hard to get going on a slowish pitch.
Deepak Hooda was dismissed in the 16th over at 116 runs. After this Lucknow failed to keep themselves with the required run rate. Even with Marcus Stoinis (27 of 17) battling it out till the end, the equation was too much for them. Lucknow was ultimately able to score 154 runs in their 20 overs and lost the match by 24 runs. Trent Boult was the bowler from Rajasthan who finished with the best figures of 2 for 18 from his 4 overs. This was Rajasthan’s 8th win of the tournament ion 13 matches while Lucknow lost their 5th in 13 outings.
