Well-known Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu’s fans were very excited when the news came that Taapsee will play the lead role in the biopic of the Indian woman great Mithali Raj. On 20 June 2022, the trailer came out and people seemed to like it so far as they showed full support for the movie. Fans showered a lot of love for the trailer of the movie.
This movie is fully based on the cricketing career of Mithali Raj and her story throughout her career. Former India legends like Sachin Tendulkar, and Sourav Ganguly had also shared their joy by sharing the trailer. They urged people to watch this movie at near theaters and also expressed gratitude to the full cast of the movie. Netizens also heaped high praises as they found some uniqueness in that trailer than other cricket-fanatic movies.

Speaking about the career of Indian woman great Mithali Raj, she had a 23-year old career where she played for India across all three formats. She accumulated 805 ODI runs in 232 matches, 699 Test runs in 12 matches, and 2364 T20I runs in 89 matches. She was known as one of the finest batters in the history of Women’s cricket. She captained India from 2004 to 2022 as she is known as the highest run-scorer of all-time Women’s International cricket.
Shabaash Mithu is scheduled to get released on 15 July 2022 as the film is directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by Viacom18 Studios. Taapsee Pannu’s fans will eagerly wait to see her performance in and as the former Indian Woman captain Mithali Raj.
