Punjab Kings and Mumbai Police engage in Twitter banter after their win over Mumbai Indians
Punjab Kings got engaged in hilarious Twitter with the Mumbai Police after their victory over Mumbai Indians in match number 31 of IPL 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium on Saturday. It all happened after PBKS pacer Arshdeep Singh broke the stumps twice to get back-to-back wickets in the last over and take the game away from MI. The left-arm bowler gave only 2 runs in the last over when MI needed 16 runs to win.
After the match, PBKS posted a picture of the broken stumps on their social media and took a dig at Mumbai Police by tagging them and putting a caption, “Hey @MumbaiPolice, we’d like to report a crime.”
After that, Mumbai Police also came up with a hilarious reply by stating that action could be taken for breaking the law and not the stumps. Replying to PBKS’ Tweet, they wrote, “Action is most likely to be taken on breaking the law, not stumps!”
