Star Kolkata Knight Riders batter, Rinku Singh participated in the recently concluded 16th edition of the Indian Premier League where he scored 474 runs at an average of 59.25 and became the highest-scorer for KKR. He has also become the face of the Aligarh Premier League, a tournament on the lines of the IPL, under the Khelo India campaign.
Rinku went on vacation in the Maldives right after IPL and posted pictures that got a lot of attention from famous people. Now, the KKR finisher and Mirzapur star Pankaj Tripathi was seen clicking photos after the interview on NDTV. However, Rinku Singh’s dream did not always come true easily. In a recent interview with NDTV, the KKR batter stated that he used to wash floors at a coaching facility to make ends meet. He also talked about how his financial situation made it impossible for him to play cricket anymore.
Pankaj Tripathi to do four films in a year
“My brother used to work at a coaching center and he got me a sweeper’s job there. My job was to clean the floors and I had to leave cricket for it. I later convinced my mother that I can improve our family’s financial condition by improving my game,” Rinku Singh was quoted as saying on NDTV on Saturday.
Pankaj Tripathi wants to focus on quality and personal development, hence he only accepts up to four film jobs in a year. Despite having six releases lined up, the actor hopes to strike a better work-life balance and spend more time with his family and farming. Tripathi wants to regain his personal experiences and insights, which he feels are crucial to the art of acting, by taking time off in between projects. He appreciates not being restricted and credits his versatility to his theatre experience.
