‘Amazing rescuer’ – Fans react as Hanuma Vihari accpets Ravichandran Ashwin’s invitation on ‘Kutty Stories’ after recent controversy during Ranji Trophy 2024
Indian cricketer Hanuma Vihari shocked everyone on Monday by declaring that he will no longer compete in domestic events for his home team, Andhra Pradesh. This decision was made in response to the batter’s startling accusations against the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA), which he claimed left him feeling “humiliated” and “self-respecting.”
Ashwin tweeted, “Kutty stories with ash ‘Vihari Garu’ Meeru ready unnara ????”
After the controversy, Hanuma Vihari received an invitation from Ravichandran Ashwin to appear in his well-liked YouTube series “Kutti Story.” Vihari recently claimed that the reason he lost his captaincy in the Ranji Trophy was because of Prudhvi Raj K N, his father, and Andhra. The cricketer from Andhra Pradesh asserted that even though he was perfect, he was fired as captain even though Andhra put on a good show.
The incident happened during the game against Bengal. It was said that Vihari argued with the player because he was dissatisfied with Prudhvi Raj’s efforts. It did not set well with Prudhvi, who complained about it to his politically oriented father. Only one game after leading the team in the Ranji Trophy 2024, Vihari was sacked from captaincy.
‘I was the captain in the first game against Bengal’ – Hanuma Vihari opens up about the controversy
Hanuma Vihari revealed an incident in which he was asked to step down as captain which was an embarrassing moment for him. Despite Andhra’s valiant 410-run chase against Bengal, he was sacked from the captaincy. However, he participated in the season out of respect for the game and his team.
“This post is about some facts I want to put forward. I was the captain in the first game against Bengal. During that game, I shouted at the 17th player, and he complained to his dad, who is a politician. His dad, in return, asked the association to take action against me. Although we chased 410 against last year’s finalists, Bengal, I was asked to resign from the captaincy without any fault of mine,” wrote Vihari in his Instagram post. Following this, Hanuma Vihari took to Twitter to accept the invitation by Ashwin.
