Anushka shares a heart-warming story on Instagram after Virat Kohli notches his 44th ODI hundred in the 2nd ODI against Bangladesh
Former India skipper Virat Kohli has had a great run in T20I cricket since the Men’s Asia Cup in September this year. This was the tournament in which he hit his maiden T20I hundred. In the 20-20 World Cup 2022, he was the highest run-getter with a little less than 300 runs. After this, he was due for a big score in the ODI format.
However, he didn’t have any success in the first two ODIs against Bangladesh. However, in the ongoing third game, the former India skipper hit his 44th ODI hundred. Notably, he had luck on his side as the opposition skipper Litton Das dropped Kohli’s catch early in the innings. In reply, the 34-year-old made the opposition pay for the mistake. He scored 113 runs off 91 balls including 11 fours and two sixes.
With this, he went past Ricky Ponting’s 71 hundred across formats. The Delhi player now has 72 hundreds to his name. Meanwhile, after scoring the century, Kohli’s wife and Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma shared an Instagram story. In the story, the moment after Virat scored a century is visible and Sharma used heart emoji.

Meanwhile, Sharma is also set to appear in a cricket-related biopic. Apparently, she will be playing the role of former India pacer Jhulan Goswami in the latter’s biopic. The ‘Zero’ actress has been working hard on her acting and looks for the film. The former India pacer announced her retirement from all forms of the game in England in a few months. Fans might remember that game because of Deepti Sharma mankading Charlotte Dean. Meanwhile, the film is set to be released next year on Netflix
