Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were seen celebrating the birthday of their daughter Vamika in London. After the conclusion of the ODI World Cup 2023, Virat took a leave for about a month. It was much needed for the star cricketer, who has been continuously playing cricket for a long time. Along with Rohit Sharma, Virat is the senior player in the team, who needed some break.
The senior players in the team have been continuously playing cricket for a long time. Right from the Asia Cup 2023, Virat, Rohit, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, and other players have been with the Indian team. After the ODI World Cup 2023, the seniors are given their due rest. Before the South African tour, the senior players have taken rest to remain focused on Test cricket.
Virat asked the Indian cricket board for a leave for about a month before the start of the Test series in South Africa. Hence, Virat is unlikely to play in a limited-overs series in South Africa. Virat asked for leave to have a family vacation. Currently, Virat has been with his wife Anushka and daughter Vamika, celebrating the vacation in London. Even Rohit and his family are in London for the vacation.

The star batter ended the tournament as a leading run scorer with 765 runs to his name, breaking record after record in the process. At the age of 35, Virat became the oldest winner of the ‘Player of the Tournament’ award in the history of the ODI World Cup.
