In the first ODI between Bangladesh and India, KL Rahul scored an important 73 runs to take the team to a fighting total. However, him dropping a catch at a crucial juncture made him a villain in the eyes of Indian fans. The right-hander made some amends in the ongoing second ODI as he took a great catch to end a long seventh-wicket partnership between Mahmudullah and Mehidy Hasan Miraj.
However, he had a chance to carry on with the good form he displayed in the last game. After all, the Men In Blue were reduced to 39/3, chasing 272. However, after scoring 14 off 28 balls, he was trapped lbw by Miraj. With this, once again the fans are bashing him for not delivering at a time of need. Shreyas Iyer and Axar Patel are providing hope to the team
After the wicket of Rahul, the Rohit Sharma-led side was in absolute shambles. At 65/4, they were looking all but lost.
