As a host, you have to give every team a luggage van with fuel, and transport for the managers. You also have to give the sponsors transport. Lastly, you have to ensure that they are getting the mileage that they want from their sponsorship. The fuel for the generators to run the floodlights will also have to be found,” said de Silva while talking with ESPNCricinfo.
Coming back to the Asia Cup tournament, then it will be played in the T20I format. The qualifying round will be played ahead of the main round of the competition. UAE, Kuwait, Singapore, and Hong Kong will play against each other in the qualifying round. The winner of this round will go ahead to the main tournament to face Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.
