Australian Star Player to play for Bangalore in Indian T20 League 2022

Bangalore has picked up Jason Behrendorff for the Indian T20 League 2022 for his base price of INR 75 Lakhs. He posted a picture on his social media, where he made it clear that he is going to join his franchise soon for the 15th edition of the cash-rich league. However, the post grabbed attention for the person sharing space with Behredndorff.
It was Marnus Labuschagne, who was clicked with the Aussie bowler. The image has given rise to speculations that Labuschagne is coming to India to be a part of the tournament. There has not yet been any official confirmation regarding the development. There is a rumor going around that the star Australian batter has been offered a deal as a replacement for an injured or unavailable player., having previously gone unsold at the mega auction.
Previously, Marnus had revealed the three teams he would like to be a part of in the cash-rich league. He Tweeted on February 4th, 2022 – “Over the years I’ve always loved watching Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai.”
Time will reveal whether Labuschagne gets to be part of any of his desired teams. But this recent bit of rumor surrounding the star batter has definitely spiced things up.
Notably, in his T20 career, Marnus has played 26 matches, scoring 668 runs in them at an average of 29.04 and a strike rate of 126.75. His stay in the international arena is a testament to his resilience and determination. So, he could be a valuable inclusion for the middle order in any of the franchises of the Indian T20 League.
