‘Ab Lassi pi ke soja’: Marnus Labuschagne’s bizarre run-out invites meme fest on Twitter

The second Test between Pakistan and Australia is underway in Karachi. Australia won the toss and opted to bat. Openers, David Warner (36) and Usman Khawaja provided a great start with a partnership of 82 runs before the former got out. Warner was caught behind by wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan off Faheem Ashraf.
Marnus Labuschagne came out to bat at the score of 82/1 and played nine balls before getting run-out for a duck. Labuschagne was trying to steal a run at mid-off but sharp fielding by Sajid Khan caught him short of the crease.

The netizens quickly took to Twitter and started trolling Marnus Labuschagne. They jokingly related his run-out to the Dal-Roti he had yesterday. The 27-year-old had shared a picture of the meal on Twitter, terming it as his favourite meal.
Coincidentally, Labuschagne’s first duck in Test cricket came against the same opposition in 2018, on his debut. Since then, he has become a force to reckon with in the longest format. In the 25 games that Labuschagne has played, he has amassed 2310 runs, averaging 57.8. with six hundreds and 13 fifties to his name. He is the number one Test batter in the rankings as well.
