Barcelona’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Gets Robbed At His Home Along With Life Threats

A shocking incident took place in the life of Barcelona’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on 29 August 2022. Thieves broke into the star footballer’s house with weapons. As per reports, they also threatened the footballer and his wife with firearms and iron bars. This whole incident took place at his home in Castelldefels, Barcelona.

According to Spanish publication El Pais, four men entered Aubamenyang’s property at 1 am. They also climbed into his garden. They threatened the ex-Arsenal captain and his wife until they opened a safe. According to reports, they stole several jewels. However, on 18 August, Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski also got robbed. Thieves stole his 70,000 euros worth watch.

Meanwhile, after the incident, the Barca footballer submitted stalemates to the local police. Currently, the Barcelona police are busy identifying the robbers. Meanwhile, Aubameyang did not play in the latest match for his club in La Liga.

He was on the bench. But, he did not come out to play in Barca’s 4-0 victory over Valladolid. Speaking of the match, it was Barcelona’s third match of the season. After drawing and winning one each, they were looking to win this also. However, they managed to pull it off, thanks to their new signing Robert Lewandowski.

He scored two goals in the 24th and 64th minute of the match. Apart from him, Pedri scored a goal in the 43rd minute. In the extra time of the second half, Sergi Roberto made it 4-0 in favour of the home side. With this thumping win, Barcelona is now in the third spot on the table with two wins out of three. They have now gathered seven points in three games. On the other hand, their arch-rivals Real Madrid is still at the top of the table. They have managed to win all of their three games so far in this year’s La Liga. Hence, Real has gathered nine points from three games.
