He scored 60 runs off 40 balls which included five boundaries and two sixes. The match started with India winning the toss and deciding to chase first.

Virat Kohli to return for 2nd T20I

Virat Kohli missed the first T20I against Afghanistan due to personal reasons. However, he is all set to return to the second T20I which is on January 14. Kohli will play for India in T20I after 14 months of break. All are excited to see the King back in action for his country. As the T20 World Cup is approaching, match exposure and good performance are much needed for the team. However, amidst these celebrations, Rahul Dravid’s decision to make Yashasvi Jaiswal open was criticized heavily as Jaiswal was dropped from the team.

“We’re certainly opening with Rohit and Jaiswal. When you have such a squad, you have the flexibility to do what is in the best interest of the team. Nothing is closed but we’re happy with what Jaiswal has done as an opener for us. He gives us a left-hand combination as well at the top,” Dravid said during a press conference.
