I am very happy to win a home game like this: Suryakumar Yadav

For the home side, the pick of the bowler was Jason Behrendroff who snapped three wickets in his spell of four overs where he conceded 36 runs in his spell. One wicket each was grabbed by Cameron Green, Chris Jordan, and Kumar Kartikeya in their respective spells where gave away 15 runs, 48 runs, and 35 runs respectively.

MI while chasing a target of 200, finished the game with 21 balls to spare. The world’s number one T20I batter, Suryakumar Yadav was the highest run-getter for his side. “Much needed from the team’s point of view. I am very happy to win a home game like this. I mean they come up with a plan. They tried to make me hit to the bigger part. Take the pace off and bowl slow. I said Nehal let’s hit it hard and hit it into the gaps and run hard. Your practice has to be the same what you intend to do in matches. I know where my runs are. We have open net sessions. I know my game. I don’t do anything different,” Suryakumar was quoted as saying in the post-match presentation.
