During a practice session of Minister Group Dhaka in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League, a helicopter landing in the stadium caught players off-guard. The unexpected helicopter landing created a lot of panic and chaos among the players.

It has been reported that the incident occurred at the MA Aziz Stadium in Chattogram on Sunday. Andre Russell, Mashrafe Mortaza, Tamim Iqbal, and Mohammed Shahzad were in a net session during that time. They were, however, unaware of the helicopter landing.

The helicopter was used to airlift a critically ill patient. All the necessary permits were taken to use the airspace and the helicopter. The District Commissioner and the Sports Association were also informed of the same. The Dhaka team and the tournament organizers were apparently not informed about it, which led to players panicking.

Minister Group Dhaka currently stands third in the points table with three wins in six matches they have played so far. They will play their next game against the Comilla Victorians on the 4th of February. Meanwhile, Fortune Barishal leads the points table, with four wins in six outings.

The ongoing season has been a huge hit on social media. From players’ emulating Indian blockbuster movie Pushpa actor Allu Arjun’s signature moves to Andre Russell’s bizarre runout, the fans have witnessed a lot of action in the season.
