Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli engage in a heartwarming conversation on social media which has become the talk of the town. Apparently, the former posted a photo of him wearing a royal green outfit and surrounded by the same color of walls. It was a sponsored post that was captioned ‘Mind is greater than matter’. After this, former India skipper Virat Kohli dropped a comment.

He wrote, “And watch, by who?”. In reply, the 2018 U19 World Cup winner, Gill, wrote  “by courtesy of the king”. The fans are aware of the fact that Kohli is regarded as King by them. The duo received hundreds of replies to the post on Instagram.

Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli scored hundreds against Sri Lanka

Meanwhile, early this month, India hosted Sri Lanka for a three-match T20I and ODI series. The series started with the T20I games, followed by the ODIs. In the last ODI of the series, both Kohli and Gill scored hundreds and took India to a mammoth 390/5. They stitched a partnership of 131 runs in the game. Since then, Gill has managed to score his maiden double-hundred in the ongoing ODI series against New Zealand.

Kohli, on the other hand, is searching for runs in the series. In both games, the right-hander has failed to cross the double-digit mark. However, the team has taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the series. With the series already in the bag, the 2008 U19 World Cup-winning skipper, Virat would look to score his first international hundred against SENA countries (South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia) since 2019. His last four international hundred came against the likes of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
