Check out the 3 players who can replace Rohit Sharma in India’s Playing XI against England
Indian Test Team is getting ready to face England for the rescheduled fifth Test match on July 1, 2022. Big-name players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been included as they were given a break from the International cricket. India is now busy playing a four-day warm-up match against Leicestershire.
However, India experienced a major setback as the news came out that their skipper, Rohit Sharma tested Covid-19 positive ahead of the Test. Another Covid scare in the Indian camp as their top-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin also got Covid-19 positive before this practice match. It may be the reason why Rohit Sharma did not come out to bat in the second innings of this match. However, India needs to consider a replacement for this Mumbai batter ahead of this one-off Test match.
