Shreyas Iyer might get into the playing XI as a replacement for Rohit Sharma. In the practice match’s second innings, he looked in good touch as he scored 62 runs off 89 balls.
Till now, Iyer batted in seven International Test innings where he scored 388 runs at an average of 55.42. He could be an option in the middle order by sending Pujara or other someone to open the innings with Shubman Gill.
