Chennai Official’s Surprising Reply Amid Rift Rumors With Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja is known as one of the most beloved cricketers from the Chennai franchise of the Indian T20 League. But, during the last season, Jadeja failed to lead the team properly as he also got ruled out of the tournament due to an injury. Since then, reports were there that the relationship between him and the franchise had hit a setback.
Speculation got stronger when Jadeja removed all Chennai posts from his official Instagram account on 6 July 2022. Even, after his first ton outside Asia at Edgbaston, he was asked about the rumored rift between him and the franchise. But, he just avoided the question by saying that what happened, already happened. Now, an official of this franchise came up with a surprising reply against Jadeja’s action of removing all posts.
“We are not aware of such kinds of incidents from our side. All OK.” – Chennai Official
Speaking to ANI, a Chennai official said that they are completely unknown of such incidents and it was Jadeja’s personal call only. He also cleared any rift between them and the player. He said: “See, this is a personal call by him. We are not aware of such kinds of incidents from our side. All OK. Nothing is wrong,”
Apart from it, several reports are there that Jadeja did not even wish MS Dhoni on his 41st birthday. Speaking of the last year’s edition of the Indian T20 League, the Chennai franchise gave him the opportunity to lead them. But, he stepped down halfway through the season and gave back the captaincy baton to MS Dhoni once again.
However, after a bad Indian T20 League 2022, he made a great comeback for India at the Edgbaston Test. Now, he will be featured for India in the last two T20I matches of the three-match series against England on 9 and 10 July respectively.
A few days back, he was named the vice-captain of India for the upcoming three-match ODI tour to West Indies later this month. Even, his Chennai franchise congratulated him for that special moment in his career.
