Cristiano Ronaldo’s friend auctions star footballer’s jersey for Turkey Earthquake

Portugal footballer Cristiano Ronaldo‘s jersey has been auctioned off by his friend. The latter owned the shirt that was signed by the legendary player. The purpose of the auction was to raise relief funds for the Turkey Earthquake victims. Over the last few days, Turkey and Syria have witnessed deadly earthquakes which have taken thousands of lives and several stranded under the rubble.

Talking about the earthquake, it was a 7.7-magnitude earthquake resulting in hundreds of buildings falling down. A professional football player died during the tragedy. Authorities and medical sources estimated that more than 9,500 people have died. Meanwhile, Ronaldo’s friend Demiral took to Twitter to announce the auction of Ronaldo’s signed jersey, which is a part of Juventus kit.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo’s friend and himself a player revealed that he spoke to his friend. Demiral revealed that his friend was said to know about the earthquake. The former than announced the Ronaldo’s Juventus jersey. He also gave the details for the right paths of donation.

“I just spoke with Cristiano,” Demiral wrote on Twitter. “He said that he was very sad about what happened in Turkey. We are auctioning Ronaldo’s signed jersey in my collection. All proceeds from the auction will be used in the earthquake zone.”
