Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma has bagged his second consecutive duck in the ongoing game against Chennai Super Kings. In the game against Punjab Kings, he bagged a three-ball duck but the team won the game. Meanwhile, in the ongoing match too, Sharma has bagged another three-ball duck. In the game, the right-hander demoted himself in the batting order as he came out to bat at number three.

The likes of Cameron Green and Ishan Kishan opened the batting. However, after losing the toss and being asked to bat first, the five-time winners had a poor start. Tushar Deshpande cleaned up Green in the second over. In the next over, Deepak Chahar got rid of Kishan and Sharma to keep the Blue Brigade. Meanwhile, the fans have been trolling the latter for his another failure.

Talking about the game, the former champions failed to recover from the early jolts. The likes of Suryakumar Yadav and Nehal Wadhera put together 56 runs. At this stage, they looked like recovering and getting to a good score. However, after the wicket of Yadav, the team failed to put together an impactful partnership as Wadhera and Tristan Stubbs added another 54 runs.

Thanks to Wadhera’s fifty, the team reached 139/8, not looking for enough runs on the board as of now. In reply, the home team, Super Kings has gotten 50/1 in just five overs, looking for a massive win at this stage.

Rohit Sharma has had a forgettable season

Meanwhile, talking about Sharma, he is debatably having the worst season with the bat in his IPL career. After playing 10 games, he has only 184 runs averaging 18.39 with only one fifty that came against Delhi Capitals. Even in that game, his wicket led to chaos in the chase. In the end, despite their huffing and puffing, the team won it in the end
