In the ongoing third ODI between Bangladesh and India, Ishan Kishan got an opportunity to play with Rohit Sharma got injured. The latter got injured during the last game and has been ruled out of the rest of the series. Meanwhile, Kishan is making the most of the opportunity. Even though the team lost the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan early, Kishan didn’t lose his composure.

After playing out the conditions, he started pelting the bowlers. At one end, former skipper Virat Kohli is batting, who is playing subdued innings. At the time of writing, the former India skipper has scored a half-century and is looking set for another ODI hundred. Notably, his last ODI hundred came in 2019 against the West Indies. Meanwhile, Kishan has scored his maiden ODI hundred.

Notably, in October this year, he came close after scoring 93 against South Africa. However, he failed to cross the triple-digit mark. This time around, he managed to cross it and doesn’t look like stopping unless Bangladesh bowlers managed to break through. At the time of writing, he hit his maiden double hundred across all formats of the game for India.
