Indian cricketer and commentator Dinesh Karthik lauded Pakistan’s star pacer Haris Rauf and called him one of the best white-ball bowlers in the world. Notably, the great seamer made his way in international cricket primarily as a result of his outstanding tennis ball cricket skills.

In addition, the right-arm pacer has been in excellent form in the ongoing Hundred competition, where he is playing for Welsh Fire. The star pacer was in magnificent form in his recent match, where he scalped three crucial wickets against the Southern Brave. Meanwhile, it seems that the great bowler might pose a serious threat to the Men in Blue when they square off against India during the Asia Cup next month. Furthermore, he will play a crucial role for his side in the upcoming World Cup.

Notably, the former India wicketkeeper batter highlighted the Pakistan bowler’s journey and revealed that some years ago he was playing tennis cricket, and following that, the pacer was picked by Qalandars, which changed his life. The former right-handed batter further said that Rauf did so well for Pakistan and called him the finest bowler in the world, especially during the death overs.

“A few years ago, he was playing tennis ball cricket. Gets picked up by the Qalandars, becomes a part of their team, and academy and then goes on to play the league and then has obviously gone on to do so well for Pakistan. He is arguably one of the better white ball bowlers going around in world cricket now, especially at the death,” Karthik said on Sky Sports.

Notably, the Rawalpindi-born batter has consistently performed for the Babar Azam-led side, especially in white ball formats, which made him known for his phenomenal pace and made a great impact in Pakistan’s bowling attack alongside Shaheen Shah Afridi. The great bowler has played 22 ODIs and 62 T20Is, grabbing 39 and 83 wickets, respectively.
