From domestic hotshots to overseas superstars, everybody looks forward to playing in the Indian T20 League. The tournament has gifted India with some of the biggest assets they are having at present.
Not only promoting domestic talents, but the tournament has also been the stage for discovering some of the biggest international stars. Players like Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, Rashid Khan have caught the attention of the cricketing fraternity with their performances in the Indian T20 League.
Here we will take a look at five overseas players to watch out for in the 15th edition of the Indian T20 League.
5. Tim David (Mumbai)
The Mumbai franchise chose not to retain Hardik Pandya for the 15th edition of the Indian T20 League. Hardik has been a solid influence for the team in the lower middle order. In order to fill the vacuum created by Hardik’s absence, Mumbai picked up the Singaporean Tim David for a whopping sum of INR 8.25 Cr.
In his T20 career, Tim David has a strike rate of 158.9. But critics have been sceptical about the quality of bowling against whom David has scored the runs at such a rate. David will be looking to silence his critics and deliver some powerful finishes to the Mumbai team this season.
