Since making his debut in the Indian T20 League, Ruturaj Gaikwad has received praise from a lot of cricket experts. He has been hailed as an all-format player and could be a great Test player if gets the opportunity.
If KL Rahul misses out on the rescheduled Test, Gaikwad could be selected as his replacement. The Chennai opener has played 5 T20 internationals for India but is yet to make his debut in Test cricket.
