2.Riley Meredith: The Mumbai franchise bought Riley Meredith in the mega auction ahead of the Indian T20 League 2022 for INR 1 crore. This buy on part of the Mumbai franchise was a backup for the English bowler Jofra Archer, who is currently recovering from a shoulder injury and might miss the Indian T20 League’s 15th season.
This season Mumbai has left out Hardik Pandya, which has limited their options for pace bowling all-rounders. As a result, Australian Daniel Sams might play ahead of Meredith. Besides the option of Tymal Mills along with Bumrah might be more effective for the team. So, Meredith might miss out on the majority of the Indian T20 League this season.
