With only less than a week left in the Indian T20 League, players’ injuries have created a headache for the teams. England pacer Mark Wood has already been ruled out of the season due to an elbow injury. Some players are ruled out for half of the season, while others are set to miss the first few games.

The injured players we are going to talk about were supposed to be playing valuable roles in their sides. In this listicle, we will discuss five names, whose injuries have created headaches for their team management ahead of the season.

Five players with injury concerns

Ruturaj Gaikwad

Last year’s Orange Cap winner hasn’t played a game since getting injured ahead of a T20I against Sri Lanka last month. Gaikwad injured his wrist while batting in the nets ahead of the game, which eventually ruled him out of the series. With less than a week left at the start of the 15th season, Chennai will be hoping for him to attain peak fitness.

2. Deepak Chahar

Another important Chennai player is battling with injury ahead of the season. Deepak Chahar’s quadriceps injury has left the Chennai fans worried. Latest updates say that the swing bowler will not play for almost half a season. The Yellow brigade wanted him in the team and paid a hefty amount of 14 crores for him. His loss is a massive blow.
