A historical Test match awaits both England and India as they are going to lock horns for the fifth, rescheduled Test match, starting from July 1, 2022. Indian players are gearing up for the Test as they played a four-day Warm-up match against Leicestershire.
On the other hand, England is coming off a crushing victory over the World Test Champion, New Zealand after clean sweeping them at a margin of 3-0. England was looking to start fresh in the longest format of the game as they gave the captaincy responsibilities to Ben Stokes, under a new head coach Brendon McCullam. However, England proved it right as they thrashed New Zealand in the three-match series with a scoreline of 3-0.
Despite being in some critical or bothering spots, England still maintained their attacking approach. That worked wonders for them as New Zealand failed to win a single match in the series. This new kind of approach will help them to attack India in the Test match.
