4. Rishabh Pant’s performance: Rishabh Pant has evolved himself into a genuine match-winner for India in Test cricket. However, it is often noticed that Pant throws away his wickets after getting starts in the shortest format of the game. He was also not at his best in the latest edition of the Indian T20 League while leading the Delhi team in the tournament.

However, the national selectors have shown faith him in and made him the vice-captain for the series against the Proteas. It will be interesting to see how Pant handles the responsibilities and whether there is a change in his batting approach to get big scores in the T20 format.
