Gautam Gambhir has asked the youngsters to follow Virat Kohli. The former Indian cricketer praised the fitness level and workload management of Virat Kohli and asked youngsters to take a leaf out of it. In an interview recently, Gambhir expressed his emphasis on fitness and felt that the younger players should aspire to remain fit to have a longer career in cricket.

“Youngsters must learn from Virat Kohli. He has worked a lot on his fitness and youngsters should learn and follow him,” said Gambhir. Many are aware of the fitness standards Virat has set for himself. At the age of 25, the star cricketer is capable of running between the wickets as good as ever. It has rubbed on his fellow teammates who follow the fitness without feeling burdened.

Virat can put in the hard yards as a player and produce results later on with the bat. In the last 7-8 years, the world has seen an incredible version of the cricketer. From being someone who hardly cared about fitness to having goals for his fitness, Virat has come a long way in his career and aspires to remain as fit as possible. Despite him being 35 years old already, people associate him with witness.

Reports suggested that the senior players might find it difficult to make it to the team unless they perform well in the IPL 2024.
