 Hardik Pandya visits Amit Shah’s home ahead of Sri Lanka series, shares images on social media

Hardik Pandya will lead the Indian team in the upcoming three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka at home. The series will start on January 3. Regular skipper Rohit Sharma has been rested and won’t play the shortest format before the Indian T20 League 2023. Meanwhile, ahead of new year’s eve, the all-rounder, alongside his elder brother met Indian Home Minister, Amit Shah.

The duo went to India’s Home Minister’s residence and had a conversation with him. The pictures of the event is been circulating on social media. The details of the conversation are yet to be known.

Meanwhile, recently, the squad for the ODI and T20I series has been announced. As discussed earlier, Hardik will lead the T20I side. On the other hand, the right-hander will be the deputy of Rohit Sharma, who will return to the team for the ODI series. Notably, KL Rahul, who was once vice-captain of the team across formats, has been relieved from the role.

Also, he has been dropped from the T20I series while managing to keep his place on the ODI side. Not to forget, he has been selected as the wicketkeeper batter in the team even though he is non-regular for the job.
