India won by a huge margin against England in Rajkot. It’s a complete team performance for India. The 22-year-old boy from Uttar Pradesh became the new star of India. The left-handed opener was truly special. He scored back-to-back double-hundreds against England during this series. Jaiswal scored his first double ton in Visakhapatnam in the 2nd Test match. He scored 209 runs off 290 balls and hit 7 sixes. His form continues in Rajkot too, where he scored 214 runs off just 236 balls.

Yashasvi Jaiswal became the first player in the Test, who hit over 20 sixes in a Test series. He hit 3 sixes in the first Test, 7 sixes in the second and 12 sixes in the Rajkot Test. Jaiswal has already scored 3 hundred in the 7 tests.

England opener Ben Duckett said something strange about Jaiswal’s aggressive brand of cricket

According to Duckett, credit must be given to them. He thought Jaiswal played aggressively after watching England’s Bazball approach. “When you see players from the opposition playing like that, it almost feels like we should take some credit that they’re playing differently than how other people play Test cricket,” Duckett said in a post-match press conference.

“We saw it a bit in the summer and it’s quite exciting to see other players and other teams are also playing that aggressive style of cricket. He looks like a superstar in the making, unfortunately, he’s in some very good form at the moment. He’s due a couple of low ones,” he added.
However, Veteran England Skipper and commentator Nasser Hussain did not agree with Duckett’s comment. He thought Jaiswal was an immensely talented player and he had not learnt anything from Duckett and England. He said, “The comment on Jaiswal that he has learned from us. I am going to touch on that. He has not learned from you, he has learned from his upbringing and all the hard yards he had to put in while growing up, he has learned from the IPL. If anything, I would look at him and learn from him,” in a Sky Sports podcast.
“So, whatever they are saying in public and in that dressing room, I hope they are going back into their room with a little bit of self-introspection. I can look at that lad and learn from him. Otherwise, it becomes a cult, doesn’t it? At times, Bazball has been described as a cult where you cannot criticize either within or externally. Even in this regime, there is room for learning and improving.” Hussain said to Michael Atherton.
England will play their third Test in Ranchi on February 23.
